CIMAGE Public Library – Inauguration

CIMAGE’s ‘Neighborhood Public Library’ was inaugurated on 30th April, 2011 by Hon. Dy. CM of Bihar -Mr. Sushil Kumar Modi. He was accompanied by Mr. P. K. Shahi, Hon. Minister – Human Resource Development, Bihar. It was also visited by the Bharat Ratn, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Hon. Ex President of India, who appreciated the rich collection of books.

CIMAGE’s well-stocked library is treasure-house of knowledge and an asset to the college, students and the neighborhood. This public library has a collection of more than 50000 books.

Since the inception, due to the collection and variety of books available in CIMAGE Library, it was very popular among the students of the college. Seeing its usefulness, soon it was made a ‘Public Library’. Hence CIMAGE Library was renamed as ‘CIMAGE Public Library’.

CIMAGE Public Library has a vast collection of books, Magazines, Periodicals, Newspapers and Journals for the benefit of the readers. It is a treasure-house of knowledge which helps us in fulfilling our mission of spreading knowledge.

CIMAGE Public Library is housed in a very spacious hall. It has thousands of books in stock, covering the area of Management, IT, Media, Philosophy, History, Literature, Art and Culture, Technology, Science, Fiction and a lot more. All the books are kept systematically and are classified and indexed according to their subjects. However ‘New Arrival Desk’ always helps the book lover finding the new books or collections, which keep on coming to keep the library always updated.

The ambience and the peaceful and scholarly atmosphere at CIMAGE Public Library helps one to concentrate more on one’s work and study. That’s the reason; It is very popular among not only the students but also among the Educationalists, Activists, Social Workers and others.
